I heard from a buddy of mine that the closest TRU, as of yesterday morning, had five MP Optimus Primes. So, I had some gift cards to blow, and figured I'd take a shot. So, I get up there at 4 pm, only to discover a freakin' empty shelf - all of them were gone. I couldn't believe it.
I think that either the employees got them, or 'other collectors' hit it up before I got there.
On a hunch, I went back up this morning, and they were unloading a truck. They had already filled in the shelf space where MP Prime should be with DotM Cyber Blasters. Luckily, I did find the two GDO deluxes I needed. Some lady (who was also looking for MP Prime) bought a full set plus an extra Swerve and Cliffjumper (I think), and I was able to pick through the remains. No scouts or legends though...which sorta sucked.
Anyway, the employee said to check back tomorrow on the GDO stuff and that "they only get a day warning for stuff like" Optimus Prime "so check back in later"...so...yeah...
I hate that TRU.
