Hello, I'll try to help out here...

One thing you could add is a chat box at the bottom of the page.  That way people can quickly have conversations with each other, and make posts that would otherwise be considered spam in the actual discussion board.

Hi Lockdown, welcome to the fun. Can you point me to an example of this kind of thing so I can see what it looks like?

I have over 600 TFs it would take the better part of a day

And yes im talking G1 Metroplex

Where would you say the biggest gaps are in the db? I might be willing to sort of dogpile on one of the toylines over the next few days to try to flesh it out. If you care to help, you can either help me with the db entries, or if you have original packaging for any of your toys, you could send me scans of logos, insignias, etc....

First thing i think we should address is a more TF theamed name

You've got a point, and I'd open to suggestion, but the thing is that down the road I have plans to have other "tabs" for the site for folks that collect other stuff, like G.I. Joe figures, or Star Wars stuff, or even things like comic books and beanie babies. So, while I'll admit that "shmax.com" doesn't really mean anything, or have anything to do with Transformers, it's nice 'n generic, and it's one of the last precious few 5-letter dot-coms in the wild. But maybe there's something else we can do to make the site seem more Transformers-y?

Or do you mean the one from generation 1? I actually have him stuffed away somewhere from back when I was a young'un. I recall he was kind of blocky, but he had lots of nifty little gadgets all over him.

I'm not familiar with Gunrunner--if you have him, would you be kind enough to enter him into the DB?

Alot of the right side text is so smushed togather i dont even know where to start and the bubble windows over lap it all to
