Feature Requests/Announcements / We Need a Better Looking Forum

So Engledogg and I have been talking about this for months and like the title says we need a better looking message board. I've talked to a few friends who are collectors (only one actually collects Transformers, the others collect other stuff like Star Wars, Marvel Universe and LEGO...but that's besides the point) that get put off by the site or don't hang around the boards because they are "outdated" and "visually straining" (their words not mine). I honestly agree, the skin we have now just doesn't present itself well. It's probably why the forums are usually dead around here.

I had my own message board back in 2004 or 2005 so I've played around with Forumer & IPB forums, heck I think Forumer uses the same setup and templates as the ones we are using now. Change the style/board template to AeroBlack or something and I bet the overall board style/look will be much better and make it easier to navigate through the forums.

It's almost 3 a.m. so I can't articulate my thoughts and ideas in more detail than that. I just wanted to get a conversation started at least. I have some other ideas for the board, but I'll mention them if there's an interest in making changes.
