It's October, which means Halloween, which means spooky things, so naturally we need to highlight the spookiest Decepticon of all: Mindwipe! Nothing scares Autobots more than when he transforms into a stealth fighter and--wait, stealth fighter? Isn't he supposed to turn into a big, creepy bat? Oh, that's a different Mindwipe. Awkward. Well, stealth fighters are scary too, right? All dark and... radar-deflecting... I think I'm gonna cut my losses on this one. We at shmax.com love toys. And we've decided that it's long past time that we honor the most important part of the toys that we adore so much. We're talking, of course, about the humble instruction booklet. Without instruction booklets, would we be able to figure out that Optimus Prime's arms have to be rotated out before flipping up his head, or that She-Hulk's hands can be swapped with the extra hands that she comes with, or that the control panely-lookin' sticker goes on the control panely-lookin' section on the Wind Raider? Yeah, probably. But we'd never know for sure, and who wants to live with that kind of nagging doubt all their life? So take a bow, instruction booklet. Today is your day! Thanks to a combination of running out of space and running out of money, I need to prune the ol' toy collection a bit. This means I'll be doing some semi-regular selling on eBay for the foreseeable future. It's mostly Transformers and He-Man, but there'll be other toys and even non-toys posted. "Chibi" is a style of caricature where characters are depicted with short, chubby bodies and big heads with large, expressive eyes. Normally the results are super-cute, but when the subject has a head that's 50% eye to begin with, you end up with Bonecrusher, here. Pleasant dreams, kids!
