Dear Shmaxian Overlords:
I have a question!  When I "browse" the catalog of toys, I have the option to look by "mold".  Which is great! However the "US" version and "Canadian" version and "European" version are all lumped separately in this view.
Why?
I know they are separate entities in terms of packaging for the regional, release and language variation interests of this site, but in the mold category, why aren't they all lumped together?  I understand Classics and Henkei are different for example... different paint and accessories in some cases and therefore different molds.  But US and Canadian mold differences do not exist so why not lump the popularity statistics together?

For my own curiosity?  Love the site!  So much information and goodness here.

Kinda cool they are offering a re-issue of Fortress Maximus, but I really feel for all those collectors out there which may have a devalued original now.

Shutterbug Club / White Reflections.... how to minimize

Dear photographic-unimind:

I am pleased with a ramshackle large, white, light-box which I have assembled, however I get a white reflection coming up along the bottom of my pictures.
Look:




The bottom of the images are washed out... now part of it is the plastic bubble catching the light, but I see this effect even on loose figures.

Any tips from the uber-photographers?

Universe Autobot Hound with Ravage is asking for Acid Storm details.

I have a Canadian plain wing G1 Jetfire.  I have missiles for it.






Its neat because the missiles go in both ways for two different looks.

I tried to take a few pics of Botshot toys.
The card is really shiny white in the top corner.... I can't get a white background without washing out the details.
Any suggestions?

I was wondering, since there is a field for the purchase price, there could be a percentage return on investment calculation somewhere in the collection database?

Who's been the best ROI in my collection, etc?  Default denominator could be MSRP.

I see these as the HOC, Titanium and other small static representations of characters.  I do admit I'm impressed they transform, and I like that they are a good size. 

Still I'm waiting for them to show up in the discount bin.

Where's this entry in the database?

I have a DOTM Bumblebee from Japan.  Same as the US release only with stickers here 'n' there.  28739/28738 assortment code.

Its not clear as it doesn't have a DA number all the Japanese entries use.

What should I do?

Could a "Browse collection by form" option be included?

I like the Browse products, form, option.  Listing all treaded vehicles and sorting by price is cool.  I'd like to see how my collection stacks up though....

How complete is my tank collection, do I have most of the dune buggies.... etc.
