Oh, well that's an even easier fix. Why don't I start with reducing the clickable area down to the "remove" text itself for now, and we can revisit in the future.
Thank you ❤️

Here's an idea: how about if I hide the "Remove" link inside the expanded item? You know, so you have to open it up by clicking on it before you can even see the "Remove" link... would that make everybody happy?
I like this idea or the choice to change confirmation behavior. The drop down is preferred but that dramatically changes the way one interacts with the site. I was clicking the bar to drop down the menu to add an accessory that I acquired and was apparently too sloppy.
Btw, I attached a picture of what I see if I have a toy in my collection when viewing the toy's page. Also, using Chrome 69 on macOS, the clickable part around remove is pretty large. I couldn't get a screenshot with the cursor so I added the red line to show how far out "remove" can be selected. I attached a gif, that hopefully isn't too large, showing the mouse over action.

I meant to click an item in my collection to update it but managed to click two pixels to the right too far and I removed it instead :/
Feature request: Undo or a "recently deleted from your collection" section?
Thanks for keeping this awesome for our collections :D

The repeat notices have stopped since I unchecked that box.

Good to know about that photos page, that's pretty cool!
5
I un-ticked that box, I'll let you know :D

I mostly find this interesting rather than annoying, especially since I get no other email notifications from Shmax even though I have checked all the possible boxes. At the very least, this gives me something to think about while I get frustrated trying to dial in the quality of my photo contributions  :P

I keep getting the same notification that I was quoted in a forum post, on June 10. I get a couple an hour but there doesn't seem be any regularity to it. I'd say it started on Saturday or so.

I configured my Shmax to send me email notifications back in June but this is the first time any notifications have actually showed up in my email.

Here is the post:

I'm going to be pretty busy for the next couple of weeks but I'll pick up my efforts in ernest after that.

I found it easier to dial in my settings on something that isn't crazy colorful. I did a proof of concept on G1 Thunderwing's small laser. Let me know what ya'll think of it (it seems grainy).

I'm very motivated to fill in all the gaps on Shmax with anything I can. I think I have my lighting set up well, now I just need to work on the camera settings. I work at a college and have access to all sorts of equipment for free. The camera I'm using isn't a DSLR which I think is my problem. Once I get my hands on one of those, I should be able to more accurately follow the camera settings guide. Basically, I'm trying to get myself into a position where I don't have to do a _ton_ of post processing, otherwise I'll just drive myself batty.

Thank you for the tips! I'll give that a shot.

I always a enjoy a good tutorial, as time allows :D
10
Also, I figured out, when I'm editing the photos, I can grow the Canvas and include a (255,255,255) white background so I know when the background of the photo is white. I'll plug through a few more submissions and see how it goes.

Cheers!

It's ~900 KB. I don't understand why it would get hacked down to less than 200 KB.
I compress the files when during all the automatic cropping and other processing. Is it causing a noticeable drop in quality?

I feel much less crazy now.
12
I took some screenshots of the upload process and attached them to this post. In the Finder, the file is ~900 KB. When I upload, the file is processed by the site for a moment and then hacked down to 196 KB.

According to Photoshop, the image should be 1020x1371 at 72 dpi.
13
I recognize I have some work to do on the white balance. However, the exact same file that I uploaded was attached to that last post and uploaded to imgur. It's ~900 KB. I don't understand why it would get hacked down to less than 200 KB. I think that is a site issue or I am doing something really dumb when I upload the photo.
14
I just uploaded this image for MR-13 front (uploaded to Imgur and attached to this post):

Let me know if that size came through wacky.
15
That's weird. When I "Save for Web..." from Photoshop, they come through at 900ish KB. I try to get as close to 1024 KB, by adjusting the image size (pixels), without driving myself insane. I'm using Chrome on a Mac if that is meaningful information.

I'll work on getting my act together for white backgrounds :D
