Title: Reflective surface under object?
Post by: Spiff-O-Matic on October 14, 2014, 10:21:27 AM

So I used a white polycarbonite platter under Air Burst when shooting him. The only issue I think I have is the way there's a large reflection in front of him. What I've done in these pics is level out the white to get rid of any background and extraneous shadows that showed, then did a feathered box selection to soften the edge of the reflection that's left in the image. But I think it looks a bit weird. Any thoughts?

I just noticed that this morning...I think your previous pics had better-looking shadows.  Less...glossiness/reflectivity.

OK, I tweaked those photos and resubmitted. In the future I will not use the reflective surface ;)

Thanks, Spliffy. You can still wear the shiny pants, if you want.
