Since I joined a couple months ago the value of my collection has been mostly stagnant.  Seems like maybe its not pulling data from eBay like it should. If you need more details ill be happy to provide you with whatever I can, ice got a relatively small collection of 56 items,  but even providing links to those would take some time.
Whatever helps though right?

I'll take a look into this this weekend, thanks for bringing it to my attention. As for submitting data, the best thing you could do would be to just take the time to enter the "price paid" information for every item in your collection. One day, When I Get Around To It, I will use this information to bolster the appraisal data. Thanks much!

That info should have been entered when I first put it in, but ill check to see if I missed any.
Thanks for looking into it.

Wow, good eye. Each of these had some little problem or other:

Sellers weren't bothering with "autobot" (we generally try to remove "autobot" from search terms--we apparently missed this one) or "lennox", so I changed his search terms to just "jazz".

"autobot" again

A lot of sellers were using something like "barricade w frenzy". The "w" was being rejected by the auction matcher, so I've updated the greenlist generation to include a "w" whenever "with" or "and" is encountered in the name.

We had "voyager class" set as a "subline" in our toyline tree, which was making the search string generator include it as a required term. Sellers weren't using the term. I changed the search term for "voyager class" to "voyager", and changed the node type to "class".

Shortened the search name to just "leadfoot". I also added "transformers 3" as a synonym for "Dark of the moon" (a lot of sellers apparently use it)

Not totally sure what happend with this one--I hit the "match auctions" button and it lit up like a xmas tree. I also added "g1" as a greenlit term to the "Masterpiece" toyline node. I'll work on finding out why some of these records aren't updating their auctions properly later.

Not sure about this one--it seems we just don't have the data to work with. The search string being generated is "nitro bumblebee (mechtech, "mech tech") -(japan, japanese, takara, canada, canadian) -repro -tribute -ko -knockoff* -lot -unlicensed -remake", which looks pretty reasonable and turns up plenty of results on eBay.

I was able to get more matches by shortening his search terms to just "roadbuster", but I see we don't have anything after late last year, so something must still be broken deep down. Sigh.

Generated search is: "("003", "shockwave") generations -(canada, canadian) -repro -tribute -ko -knockoff* -lot -unlicensed -remake", which looks fine, but isn't turning up any matches on shmax.com. I'll have to find out what's busted...

Rematched auctions, and there's plenty of data again, but still nothing after 2011.

I'll stop here and assume everything else is suffering from the same general fundamental problem. I'll get to work on this this evening. Thanks much for the reports...

I had another list to send you where eBay doesn't list beyond 2011, but I clicked away from this page accidentally.   Sorry for overloading you

This is finding the Deluxe Class auctions, not the Human Alliance version.  Doesn't seem to be searching the category/subcategory names...

Dumba$$ that used to buy everything...not so much anymore.

Closing, as we no longer have the eBay stuff.
