Okay! I'm going to give you a nice easy one to start. Your first mission (there's no refusing to accept it) is to research and enter 10 UPC codes! Here's a list of all the ones we're missing:

http://www.shmax.com/contribute_info/1?info_filter=1

I'm still working this page--it'll be a lot more user friendly in the near future, but for now you can just click on the name of the toy to go to its details page, then click on "Modify [toy name]", and enter the UPC. It's up to you how you research them. I know it's a little boring, but it'll be a good intro to data entry for ya, and then we'll move you on to something else.

Good lucj!

Is there anyway to filter a list for just north america that is w/o UPC.  Even if its just a text list of names I could plug them in manually when i find them.  I am finding some stuff but it all seems to be from the US.  Cool if not I do love the hunt, just curious.

Sure, just navigate around using the links on the left side of the page. I clicked on "North America" and turned up this:

Off you go!

Heh, glad you like it. I'll be rolling out a new navigation system sometime in the next few months that is even awesome'er. I'm also working on a new version of that whole page--should be finished in the next few days. How are you coming on those UPCs? By the way, be sure to try the "How you can help" link in the "Membership" box. That will show you the same page, but filtered to only items that you own; might make things a bit easier for you.

DJkevintron - just wanted to let you know that the UPCs, product/asst #s, etc. you submitted for the 20+ records have all been approved.

Thanks a lot!

Wow, above and beyond the call of duty, eh? I didn't even see 'em in the queue. Nice work, DJKev! What's his next mission, Ed?

Have another look at the missing info page, DJKev--I've spruced it up a bit. Now you can just click on, say, a UPC button and go directly to the UPC widget for that record. You'll get the idea--hopefully it will make things a little easier.

DJkevintron, hold off on submitting any pics for now, there seems to be a bug (we're probably gonna need you to resubmit the G1 Hoist instruction booklet again - but wait until one of us gives you the go-ahead when the bug is fixed).

Are you still interested in helping out, DJKev? We have a lot of work to do to prepare for the next photo contest, and if you have time we could definitely keep you busy!

Always willing to help. I have been slacking a bit on the skus but I got my light box ready and should have some good submissions hopefully for the photo contest.  Anything else I can help with?
