I notice that the Photo of the day doesn't change everyday. I understand that you could automate it but the sorting for "worthy" pics out of the insane image gallery so it seems that this is a manual effort on someones part. Or am I just getting a cached image and need to be more up on my refreshing?

Also, if it is a manual effort maybe we should change it to photo of the week. That way it won't be as much of a task and update it 1 day a week.

That being said, HighPrimes Devastator vs King Grimlock picture is great.  I love action scenes. +++1

Thanks for the kind words!

I'm pretty sure this is a manual process.  Shmax or an admin usually select it just like you're doing now it seems with Omega Supreme image.  I could be wrong, though.

I have to apologize for not updating the POTD more often. I used to do it daily, but I always had the hope that the site members would sort of take over the duty for me. Unfortunately, I never managed to get anyone interested and I don't have the energy to keep it up myself, what with my other coding chores keeping me busy. One of these days I'll come up with a less tedious interface to select POTDs; maybe a system where you can "vote" up pictures, or something.

I like the idea of an automated voting system that can cull from a select set of images and maybe just go through them randomly.
